Creating custom bikes for the likes of Ozzy Osbourne, Godsmack and Motley Crue requires a certain ‘understanding’ of the clients needs. Master of the macabre himself, Danny “The Count” Koker has a bit of experience with the sinister stylings required by such artists having gained his moniker while working as the eternally cool vampire-host of Saturday Fright at the Movies on the WB network, which he hosted for 10 years.
Count’s Kustoms was founded by Danny and lead fabricator, Shannon Aikau in the late 1990’s. Designed with innovation and inspired by gothic macabre, the shop’s bike designs have been noted for their long front ends and retro-influenced construction. As a custom motorcycle shop, the builders work to embody individuality and forward thinking, with a nod to the chopper’s enduring heritage. Count’s Kustoms renders all the fabrication, paint and upholstery in its extravagant 23,000 sq.ft. Las Vegas shop. The showroom and retail areas are a sight to behold and buyers and the curious who enter the shop will be greeted by the warmest group of builders in the biker community. The facility itself is lined with wall to wall purple velvet, gargoyles overlooking the collection of choppers and a 10 foot rubber bat hanging on the ceiling of the “Vampire Loft”. With a complete merchandise division, customers are quickly turning Count’s Kustoms into a much sought after lifestyle brand. Visit www.countskustoms.com. |
