The Thirsty Toad Lounge (www.thirstytoad.com), with its funky urban interior, and huge rooftop patio, provided just the right setting to get the party started! Over the course of a month, the Toad presented a series of concerts featuring Rockstar Supernova alumi, and we were there to capture the best.

The sexy and impressive six-foot-tall, Southboro, Massachusetts, born Storm Large and her band The Balls, continue to collect a devoted following of fans with their fearless, tear-the-house-down performances. Probably the least musically talented of the Rockstar alumi, Lukas Rossi makes up for it through barrels of bravado, and had the good fortune to win the competition.

His appearance at the Thirsty Toad was without Gilby Clarke as originally booked, yet Lukas did manage to stir the crowd up on his own.

Look for Lukas, Tommy Lee, Gilby and Johnny Colt to kick off their tour on New Years Eve.

Named “the hardest working musician in Manchester” by The Hippo Press in 2003, Josh Logan revels in his New Hamshire roots. An affable and energetic performer, Josh gained a lot of fans from his Rockstar showcase and continues to ride that momentum.
The multi talented and tattooed former drum major from Shadyside, Maryland, is a bundle of surprising contradictions wrapped in a coolly confident demeanor. His set was a mix of jazz induced rock n’ roll and offered many layers to hold our attention.
Always a solid performer, Magni provided accompaniment to Dilana during her set at the Thirsty Toad. An accomplished singer and guitarist, Magni and his band has been named one of the biggest pop acts in Iceland. He has enjoyed incredible success and has recorded six albums (two of which went gold). His role as sideman to Dilana was magical.
She can be quite unassuming, but she can tear it up like the best of them. With her girl next door charms, this Montreal native brought the house down during her Thirsty Toad set. You can hear Jenny on the Matthew Good track, Big City Lights.
