“Let them brush your rock and roll hair,” sang The Cars' Ric Ocasek in 1978 and New Jersey native Keith Foti is doing just that blending a career in hairstyling with making great music.
Keith started working in SOHO doing hair at John Dellaria while performing acoustically at many local bars, clubs and street corners. The music eventually lead Keith to LA where he recorded his first CD, All That Still Remains, releasing it on his own Powerline label. Keith also joined Giuseppe Franco Salon in Beverly Hills where a friendship with guitarist Stevie D. of Buckcherry led to Keith styling the entire band for the Crazy Bitch video. Since then, he has had the great fortune to style and befriend Duff McKagan (Velvet Revolver, Camp Freddy) and Duff’s Camp Freddy band mates; Billy Duffy, Chris Chaney and Donovan. Keith’s current client roster includes a star studded, red carpet of rock musicians including Matt Sorum and Scott Weiland (Velvet Revolver, Camp Freddy), Billy Morrison (Camp Freddy, Circus Diablo) Brett Scallions (The Xs, Circus Diablo), Rick Richards (Georgia Satallites) and Chuck Kentis (Rod Stewart). “I’ve also recently met and styled Mickey Rourke, who was referred to me through the salon, and Aimee Mann who I have to say, is the coolest chick ever.” You can stay current with Keith by visiting him at www.myspace.com/kfotihair and if you want that rockstar look, contact Keith at: GIUSEPPE FRANCO SALON ![]() ![]()

This raucous and riotous rock outfit was first formed around Anchorage, Alaska in 1996 by brothers Chris and Benji Lee who after relocating to New Orleans and adding Leif Swift (bass) and Michael Brueggen (drums) hit the road hard opening up for the likes of Backyard Babies, Queens of the Stone Age, and Alice Cooper. The band has just finished recording their new CD with producer Kevin Shirley (Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith).
“We only sing about what’s close to our hearts, things that we think matter and will have an impact in a troublesome world such as ours,” states Chris Lee. “Screwing, rocking and drinking.” |
