After a three year hiatus, Buckcherry are back and they have something to prove. The band created a stir with their debut album in 1999 and hit the top of the mainstream rock charts with its single, Lit Up.

However, frustrated by relentless touring and a follow up CD, Time Bomb that failed to catch on, the band broke up. But, by 2005, with renewed vigor, guitarist Keith Nelson and singer Josh Todd decided to give it another go and assembled a new band with Stevie D., (guitars), Xavier Muriel (drums), and Jimmy Ashhurst (bass).

The result is their new album, 15, an aggressive blend of southern blues and classic rock, which has just gone gold on the strength of its hit single Crazy Bitch. “We named it 15 because we tracked it in fi fteen days and it sounded so good,” explains Todd. “We called it 15 because we didn’t think that anyone would believe it. But that’s the truth.” And this time it’s that goodhonest approach combined with marketing skills learned by years of experience that is working for the band.

“We knew we had to use the internet in some way, so we released Crazy Bitch there as sort of a novelty track just to say ‘hey we’re back,’ and it took off,” says Keith. “So then we thought, why don’t we try to edit it and put it on free radio, and things just blew up.” And now, with an endless tour schedule and a new single, Next To You, Buckcherry are continuing to blow it up.

Emerging from the San Diego surf in early 2005, Daredevil Jane found roots in vibrant rock and timeworn guitar anthems to create a sound that quickly gained a wide and faithful fan base.

Comprised of Gunner (vocals), Micah and Matt Anderson (guitars), Chris Light (drums), and Chris O’Brien (bass), the band is determined to break away from the current fabricated music format and deliver a sonic boom of raw, rough and melodic rhythms built on crunching guitars.

The band recently released their debut album, Method to the Madness, produced by Tommy Andrews and Niko Bolis (Neil Young, Mick Jagger) which was nominated for “best rock album” at this year’s San Diego Music Awards.

Catch the band in a club setting as soon as you can, because it won’t be long before they are headlining a tour of their own.
